This innovative air source heat pump represents the next generation of energy-efficient water heating technology, specifically designed for New Zealand homes and families.
At the heart of the Envirosun HP Plus is its ingenious heat pump technology, which operates on a principle similar to a reverse refrigerator. While a refrigerator extracts heat from an enclosed space and releases it into the surrounding air, the HP Plus does the opposite – it captures heat from the ambient air and transfers it to water stored in an enclosed tank. This remarkable system maintains its efficiency even in temperatures as low as -7°C, demonstrating its versatility across various New Zealand climate conditions.
What sets the HP Plus apart is its impressive energy conversion ratio. The system can transform 1kW of electrical input into more than 4kW of heat output, achieving a Coefficient of Performance (COP) of up to 4.16.
